The show includes nearly four dozen framed pieces of my artwork, from small to large, and covering subjects from animals to flowers to rural scenes and more. Watercolors, acrylics, scratchboard art, giclee prints and open edition prints are displayed, most for sale. I can’t imagine I’ll ever have an opportunity to exhibit so much of my work in such a spectacular space again.
Come to my show!
The Opening Reception for my Solo Art Show is Sunday, April 14, 2019, from 1-4pm at Rarity Bay in Vonore Tennessee. “Through Her Eyes” is the largest showing of my artwork ever, in an absolutely magnificent setting!
I selected the show title “Through Her Eyes” to reflect the way I see things and capture them in my art. It also hints at the importance of eyes in my animal portraits, which I find so crucial in bringing my depiction of a dog, cat or wild animal to life. “Happy Harley,” my watercolor portrait of an alpaca done on white scratchboard, is the painting I chose to feature for this show. The whimsical colors I painted with and his funny grin have attracted lots of attention.
Don’t let Sunday’s rainy forecast keep you away. This is a once in a lifetime event – for me anyway! Please join me for a fun social time, complimentary desserts, snacks, coffee and other beverages.
This exhibit is open to the public through June 28, 2019, at the Rarity Bay Community Activity Center, 150 Rarity Bay Parkway, Vonore, TN. All are welcome to the Opening Reception. Otherwise, the gallery space is open to all, Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm.
