"A photo of my cat Jasper seemed like a purr-fect subject for a painting using scratchboard techniques on a surface called Aquabord™. Jasper's fur has a range of values, from white to light grey to black. Face-on, his eyes were magical, and the highlights I could scratch out to white would make them highly realistic. The Aquabord panel was ideal for his fine hairs, long white whiskers, and soft edges of his fur. I was delighted with the results and plan to explore Aquabord further."
