It is with surprise, joy and excitement that I announce that TWO of my paintings have been selected among only 41 chosen for “Arts in the Airport” at McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville TN! Juror Althea Murphy-Price has chosen both “Baby Boomer” and “Honeysuckle,” each created in transparent watercolors on Aquabord™.

I competed with 498 entries, submitted by 133 talented artists residing in the 33 counties of East Tennessee. Both 2- and 3-dimensional original artworks make up this exhibition reflecting a wide variety of media.

Now in its 13th year, the impressive display changes every 6 months. It is located in the concourse area behind the airport security gate checkpoint. The artwork is available for viewing by visitors flying in or out of the airport, so if you are passing through be sure to save time to see my art in person and check out this exhibit.

This show is featured from May through October, 2022. Knoxville McGhee Tyson Airport is located at 2055 Alcoa Highway, Alcoa TN.
